Choosing a Supplier Each potential supplier is formally evaluated and rated by our Quality, Procurement, and Technical staff to determine if qualification is in order, and what has been advertised, is in fact, true. This process is facilitated by a detailed 22 point supplier survey and rating system in which a minimum criteria must be met. Suppliers are audited, regularly, and re-scored on an annual basis. In addition, multiple suppliers are normally available within a defined commodity to give our clients the opportunity to pick and choose. Supplier Management ASIA Connections provides full service supplier management and support for all of our clients. We provide the experienced local resources to find what you need, visit the intended supplier(s), provide product evaluations, and samples when required. We also insure that the supplier is capable of meeting all your design criteria and functional specifications. Product quality is ensured through on-going basis through formal process audits, statistical quality controls, and on-going reliability testing if required. Safety and Regulatory Concerns ASIA Connections personnel routinely review the supplier’s processes and perform functional product testing to insure your products meet defined specifications without exception. Material Testing is performed by certified third party test labs with full traceability. Testing for lead and other hazardous materials as listed in the International RoHS and WEEE regulations can be implemented on a regular basis to ensure your products are continuously safe.
